How on Earth???
So I'm not sure how I'm gonna write a 50,000 word book in the month of November. The other day I was working on a paper for SLT... I wrote and wrote, slamming the words out, putting thoughts together quickly and succintly, and finished four pages, double-spaced, in an hour. I did a word count and came up with 1,300. I'm going to need to write on average 1,700/day to finish by midnight November 30th. That was a little....
Discouraging.

...overwhelming?
It's okay, Tim! It's the HIGH VELOCITY, low pressure approach, remember?
I'm with you, man. I'm with you.
so do you think you'll be able to do it, justin?
yes, and hmmm....do i recall your shock at my i page per hour? ha ha
You can do it Tim and Justin!
Of course, are you going for quantity or quality? For my writing strategy, I like to sit before the computer, type a sentence or paragraph and then erase it, start over, rephrase, repeat process several times, till I question why I want to write things anymore. 4 succinct pages in an hour is very impressive.
Thank you. Actually, nanowrimo suits my writing style perfectly. I like to write in big bursts of creativity, hope that it is coming out perfectly and never edit it or touch it again. Of course, this is just not realistic, but editing my own work is like pulling teeth. My own teeth. With pliers.
Justin, let's do this thing.
