Life

So sometimes I get this overwhelming feeling of being alive. I can't quite explain it. I may be driving in my car, windows down, sun shining, or perhaps I'm walking down a hallway on Microsoft campus. Maybe I just grabbed a Vitamin Water from the fridge. Yet in a moment I feel exceptionally vital, alive, breathing, here. I really enjoy the feeling, and it usually doesn't last for long. Not sure what it's all about.

C.S. Lewis talks a lot about that feeling (at least I think it's the same thing you're talking about), only he calls it Joy. There isn't really a word for it...but I know exactly what he and you mean.

P.S. - Hi, by the way, Tim! Long time no see. Hope you and all the gang at CCK are well!

Hey Erin! Come by and visit sometime!

Yeah, CS Lewis called the feeling Sehnsucht I believe, an intense longing that = deep joy. Until I read his autobiography, I was unaware that anyone else has moments like these.
