Visual Riddle

Two islands in a river. Can you take a path that will cross every bridge once, and only once?

I beleive it can be done, son, but it can't be done unless you
a)swim
b)build another bridge
c)solve it with a partner
d)have a boat.
e)have a submarine
f)dig a tunnel
g)cheat!!

It has consumed enough of my time to be deemed highly improbable, unless any one of options a through g are excercised

does crossing mean that u get on at one and and get off the other.because u don't necessarily have to get off of it and than u didn't cross it. heard about this riddle couple of days ago and still can't find a logical explanation....thought i'll look it up. did anyone brake it?
