iPhone

I'm pretty much a PC guy, just because of the availability and compatibility of the software developed for it. HOWEVER, this sleek looking phone (just released publically this morning via a keynote from Steve Jobs) may have the potential to convert me.

All I have to say is: Wow.

Wow is right. I want.

It's 802.11b/g wi-fi capabilities could potentially allow you to have free phone use whenever you're connected to the internet, because of services like skype.

That is the most excellent tech gadget ever. So expensive though, what would it cost w/o a cingular contract? It makes my 80gig Ipod look obsolete(how is that spelled?)

Wow is right. I predict everybody in the country will have one of these things in a few years.

It's slick, but Apple claims it'll be locked. If this remains the case, all those Smartphone/PPC users (myself included) who have gotten used to running all manner of apps and games on their cells may not like the lack of freedom the iPhone (currently) mandates.

Well, it may be "locked", but when has that stopped anybody?
