Bloomsday Run

Well I'm not actually as sore today as I thought I would be! Armando, his wife Lisa and friend Katie and myself ran the Bloomsday Run yesterday. For me it was my first time... and it was a blast! It's a big deal over there in Spokane... all of the news channels are covering it live, thousands of people show up to support the runners and over 40,000 people ran (I think).

Here are my stats. (And no, I didn't walk Doomsday Hill!)

Way to go Tim! (and Armando and Lisa and Katie...if you are reading this :)). Those are some pretty decent stats. I've never seen this "Doomsday Hill" you speak of, but I sounds scarey.

Oops! That was supposed to be "it." "IT" sounds scarey...not "I".

It's not so bad. Just before I hit it I passed a guy who had Bloomsday #24 on his back and I asked him if this was his 24th Bloomsday run. "Yep!" he replied. "How's Doomsday?" I asked. "Not bad! Just take it slow."

So I took it slow.

And you know what?

It wasn't bad.
