Facebook Kills Blogs

Bloggers of the world should unite and fight against the powers of these new-fangled social networking services such as Facebook and MySpace. The energy that I would normally use to create a new blog post is now poured into keeping up to date on all the new status updates, posts, photos, and crazy Facebook apps that are out there. There's only a certain amount of free minutes in a day, and when Facebook is all finished, and a few twitters, with a smattering of random news feeds thrown in (maybe an RSS for SteepandCheap), what time do I have to create elaborate and interesting blog posts? And it's so much more work!

Is it really worth keeping up on blogging?

New Laptop!

I have a new Lenovo X301 on the way... maybe not the prettiest laptop ever, but super light, super thin, super sturdy, a 128GB SSD and should do the trick.
