Nathan and Erica

Well, I'm off. I'll be flying to AZ this weekend to be in Nathan and Erica's wedding. Nate honored me by asking me to be his best man. Now I need to think of a good toast, and maybe a good prank. I just wish that I was HEALTHY. That's right, I caught some kind of a bug, but I'm in the process of kicking its butt with antibiotics and lots of vitamin C. Poor timing... I haven't gotten sick in such a long time.

I fly out Thursday night and return Monday, with my mom! That's right, she's coming to visit for two weeks. If you haven't met her, perhaps you'll be able to while she's here. She's a wonderful lady.

YES!

I had the coolest, most encouraging adventure last night! But I can't really talk about it much.

Sorry.

Visit to Spokane

I had a lovely (but brief) visit to Spokane last weekend. I got to hang out with Gus and Kristina and Co., and drill Gus with lots of questions about multimedia stuff that I'm trying to get into. Here's their darling house (I wanted to give it a big hug at first sight).

Jesse and Allison

Gus kept pretending that he was a scary monster.

He even showed us his monster dance.

The darling couple.

Colson Technology

Well, that's where I work! Colson Technology. I am the Help Desk Technical Consultant. Sounds pretty important, huh? We provide technical consulting for small businesses around Seattle and the Eastside.

I'm enjoying my new job so far. Here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
- Learning lots of new things, new technology, expanding skill base
- Good pay (with possible substantial productivity bonuses)
- I get to work with other Christians!
- Not a corporate, stifling environment
- I get a sweet laptop.

Cons:
- No peer-level coworkers
- Right now, my job is mostly administrative but will become more technical support (what I enjoy)
- I sit a lot.

There you have it. More questions? Visit our website: www.colsontechnology.com.
